Terms for companies

Updated 2026-11-02. These terms apply to companies that receive job offers from Local Quote Relay.

1. What we do

We run referral websites where customers ask for quotes. When a customer sends a request, we email a description of the job, without the customer's name, phone or email, to up to 5 companies that asked to receive requests for that site.

2. Fees

There is no sign-up fee, no monthly fee and no minimum commitment. Each job has a price, shown in its email before you claim. You pay only for jobs you claim, and only if yours is the first claim on that job to go through.

3. Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you claim a job, your card is authorised. If yours is the first claim to go through, the charge is completed and the customer's name, contact details and job details are emailed to you. If another company's claim went through first, or the request has expired, the authorisation is released (or, in rare cases, the charge is fully refunded), so you don't pay.

4. What we don't guarantee

We pass along what the customer entered. We don't guarantee that a customer will reply, hire you, or that the details they gave are complete or correct. If you think there's a problem with a job you paid for, email us.

5. Using customers' details

Use a customer's details only to contact that customer about that job. Don't sell or share them, or add them to marketing lists.

6. Stopping

Every job email has a link that stops all emails from us. You can also email us.

7. Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us for the job in question.
